1. Things that affect cholesterol levels: diet, weight, and physical activity.
2. Things you cannot change but still could affect your cholesterol level age, gender, and heredity.
3. Total Cholesterol Level Category
Less than 200 mg/dL Desirable
200-239 mg/dL Borderline High
240 mg/dL and above High

1- regardless it's not just about the diet that must change, but the eating habits of one to reduce Cardiovascular diseases.

2- genetics do play a role in such outcomes, thus being even more vigilant in one's dietary lifestyle and exercise is key.

3- Cultural backgrounds also influence food intake, and so it is important to make sure foods are prepared substituting healthier options. When you know better, you do better.
