I took my kids after Easter church services to Sugar Bacon, a home style eatery in East Dallas. In general, this place does not pride itself on healthy options. They do have a very nice salad menu, and a few of their sandwiches, like the Salmon BLT are moderately healthy if you choose a green side. I ended up choosing the brisket enchiladas with mole sauce and black beans. They were so loaded I actually only ate 2 out of 3 and then I did not eat many of the black beans at all. It was a massive protein bomb and I was glad there wasn't a lot of cheese in the dish. Because the dish was so well flavored I didn't feel like overeating and the portion was huge so I recognized that right away.
